Covid-19 vaccine online question and answer session, 5.30pm to 6.30pm, Thursday 25 November. All welcome.
Join local GPs and health experts for a session for anyone living in east London, including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering or The City of London.
The hour long virtual event on Zoom will give you the opportunity to ask any question you want about the vaccine and have them answered by local doctors and experts. No question or subject is off limits and all questions will be anonymous.
You may have questions about the vaccine and fertility; what side-effects you might expect; or you may want to know more about where you can have it done; why boosters are important; or why your 12-15 year old should have it.
It will be hosted by the following local experts:

Covid-19 vaccine, pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility: City& Hackney online Q&A

This session is aimed at those currently pregnant or breastfeeding, their family and friends as well as anyone thinking about starting a family in the future. It is hosted in partnership with NHS Community Voice and attended by Dr Sandra Husbands (City and Hackney Director for Public Health), a team of friendly local midwives, health visitors and a GP who will all be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Covid-19 vaccine webinar for Black African and Caribbean residents

On Thursday 24 June from 6pm to 8pm we are holding a webinar about the Covid-19 vaccine. While the webinar is open to all residents, it is particularly targeted at residents from Black African and Black Caribbean communities across London.
The event will be an opportunity to hear from our panel of public health professionals, senior clinicians and faith leaders. Panel discussions will cover vaccine hesitancy, misconceptions about Covid-19 and provide accurate information to enable the community to make informed decisions about the Covid-19 vaccination.

The Big Conversation

This unique event will give young Londoners the chance to be heard – to ask questions or view concerns about the vaccine rollout, to leading experts from Public Health England, the NHS and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The event will be split into two parts, including a main Q&A session, as well as smaller breakout rooms allowing for further questions and discussion. This event is led by and for young people, enabling voices to be heard and any questions or concerns to be addressed directly by the leading professionals.
