Draft response to the Long Term Plan

The NHS Long Term Plan sets out an ambitious vision for the NHS over the next ten years and beyond as medicines advance, health needs change and society develops. It outlines how the NHS will give everyone the best start in life; deliver world-class care for major health problems, such as cancer and heart disease, and help people age well. The East London Health and Care Partnership is responsible for working with partners across north east London to develop a local response to the NHS Long Term Plan.

On 15 November 2019 we will be submitting our Strategy Delivery Plan to NHS England. This plan builds on our sustainability and transformation plan produced in 2016 and includes our response to the Long Term Plan, as well as taking into account the key challenges we face (such as population growth) as a health and care system over the next decade.

We have undertaken extensive engagement with our local communities, stakeholders and partners across NEL in the development of our plan and we are incorporating the feedback we have received into the final version. Once we have submitted our final plan to NHS England it will be uploaded to this page.
