Caring for vulnerable children
Children who have long-term health conditions such as cancer, epilepsy, diabetes or sickle cell disease should have received shielding letters. If you are concerned about the health of your child contact your GP, call NHS 111 or go to A&E.
You may also have a Clinical Nurse Specialist or a Children’s Community Nurse who can support you too.
If your child has Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) you’ll have a key health professional who can support you, but if you have any concerns contact your GP, call NHS 111 or go to A&E.
