Accountable Officer for North East London Commissioning Alliance and Executive Lead for East London Health and Care Partnership

Jane has worked in the NHS for over 30 years having first qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1987 working in London, Cornwall and Devon, then returning to London in 1996, to take up clinical and management roles within the specialism of neurosciences at St George’s NHS Healthcare Trust.

Jane has worked in north east London for over 17 years and joined the PCT as Head of Physiotherapy but latterly Director of Primary and Community Care Commissioning and Managing Director of Community Health Services.  In September 2012 Jane was appointed as Chief Officer for NHS Tower Hamlets CCG.

Jane took on the role of Executive lead for the East London Health and Care Partnership (North East London STP) in March 2016 and has continued in this capacity following her appointment in December 2017 as the single Accountable Officer for all seven north east London CCGs (City and Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge). As part of her role across the NHS in London, Jane co-chairs the Mental Health Transformation Board for London; part of the Healthy London Partnerships Programme.

Jane completed her MBA in 2004 and a clinical leadership strategist course at INSEAD in that same year. Outside of work Jane has been a non-executive on the board Family Mosaic Housing Association since March 2013 and following its merger with Peabody Housing Association in 2017 was appointed to the Peabody Board.
