Dr Anwar Khan
Chair of North East London Joint Commissioning Committee
Dr Khan qualified from Westminster Medical School in 1982 and has been a GP since 1991. He works part-time at Churchill Medical Centre in Chingford and also for Health Education North-Central and East London (which is responsible for postgraduate training for General Practice). He has been a member of the panel of examiners for Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) since 1996, and was the Provost for the North East London RCGP Faculty. He was made Interim Clinical Commissioning Group Chair for Waltham Forest in February 2013 before being formally appointed as Chair in June 2013.
